
Bruce A. Weintraub, Principal of WeiTel, has extensive experience as a senior executive and business owner in the cable telecommunications and business mobility industries. His business focuses on telecommunications consulting, contracting and business mobility systems. Bruce is a 25-year veteran of the cable telecommunications industry with significant experience in Engineering and Operations of CATV companies and Competitive Service Provider companies offering voice video and data services.

Bruce established WeiTel to provide services to the telecommunications industry, by incorporating his industry skills and know-how into his core values of corporate excellence.
Prior to forming Weintraub Telecomm, Bruce was a Founder and Vice President, Network Development for Digital Access, LLC. Bruce designed the network and operational platforms to launch this start-up company as one of the pre-eminent voice, video and data service providers across 16,000 miles of fiber optic and coaxial cable serving 1.6 million homes and businesses.
As VP of Engineering and Operations for Hauser Comm., SBC and Prime Cable, from 1987 to 1999, Bruce provided service to 325,000 subscribers across 5,000 miles of HFC plant. During that time, he managed four transfers of ownership of these systems as well as the franchise renewals and transfers.
Bruce engineered and built more than 4,500 miles of distribution, completing two upgrades and rebuilds of multiple systems to their current 860 MHz platform with voice, video and data capability, managing more than 300 employees and contractors in the Eng, Ops and Const departments.
Bruce entered the cable industry in 1982 as a Field Engineer for Jerrold/General Instrument. After successfully growing and managing the Field Engineering Group and Technical Response Center for General Instrument, he joined Warner-Amex as Chief Engineer for their Reston, VA cable property.
A Senior Member of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE), Bruce chaired the sub-committee for Maintenance Practices and Procedures and the sub-committee for Coaxial and Fiber Optic Construction Techniques from 1992 to 2000. During that time, his groups developed manuals to set construction standards for the industry. Bruce was president of the SCTE Chesapeake Chapter and past chairman and president of the SCTE Delaware Valley Appalachian Chapter.
Bruce now lives in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania with his wife Judy and son David.
